I thought this video is pretty cool...thinking about making something like that...what program do you need to use because in windows movie maker the picture timeing is to slow?

I'm not sure what they're called but I think this is one of those things where you take a button and snap it and it captures a frame, then you make the change and hit it again, etc etc. Also, it could be using snapshot mode on a camcorder or perhaps just taking a lot of pictures and putting them together in Movie Maker.

It's called stop action animation. Very crappily done, because most of the time you have a tripod, or you at least hold the camera somewhat steady. But yes, stopaction, it's how claymation videos are done. Claymation Example

Its basically just taking a bunch of pictures and Animating them. You do it frame by frame. Like, Take a figure, Put his hand at his waist, Take pic. Move it very slightly, Take pic. Move it slightly, Take pic. Etc.
