OK, so i tried the torpedo mod help that was stated in an earlier post about using more than two types of torpedoes when playing a ship, but if u selected the same ship as an enemy....it can use whatever amount of types that the ship came with....I did this by: TorpSys = pPlayer.GetTorpedoSystem() if(pTorpSys): iNumTypes = pTorpSys.GetNumAmmoTypes() for iType in range(iNumTypes): if (iType >= 2): pTorpSys.RemoveAmmoType (iType);
3. if (iType >= 2):
change it to
if (iType >= 5):
i tried type 1,3,4,and 5 and the only one thatll work without freezing the game is 2....ANY help will be appreciated very much! :) Thanks
:( I've been having the same problem. I also read the reply about changing the number from 2 to five. Then a few seconds after the loading screen comes up for a QB, it goes to the black screen of Death!:uhoh: Someone's gotta know what to do...

That trick is only for QB, but I'm not sure if it works in SP. About the "Black Screen of Death" try running in test mode and when the screen comes up (the black one) press the ` button, it's at the left side of the 1 and above the Tab.
I only want it in Quick Battle, but when I change the number and load a quick battle....it crashes when I start,
If anyone can tell me what to do to correct this, please let me know
Some people can't edit the file after you have foundation or it'll screw up their game. It doesn't compile properly.
Try downloading the one from DAP.
Or the one you get with the Advanced Technologies Pack (doesn't matter which one).
Where do you get the Tech Packs?
i have got four working and thats only by using the modelpropertyeditor with sdk and alter the torpedo system property
