Ok, I'm thinking about creating a torpedo, except it's not a torpedow, it's a mine.

I want to modd a ship so that it lays mines. The mines are black and do not move. I've found the damage value however, I'd like to set the radious, IE when a ship his it, there is a big bang and ships neer by register damage too.

All I want is a big hole in the front of the ship that hit it and then everyone else gets some shield damage.

Is there a simple way of doing it?

I think I just found it. Can someone confim the value I want to change is pTorp.SetDamageRadiusFactor(0.14)

To up this value? Also, how big are these radious units?

I'm tempted to up the damrad value on a quantun and see what effect it has> :dance:

ive actually been working on a mine as a weapon using the launching framework

one of the three defiants i have launches mines but it can be a pain when you hit them yourself (i think they are really torps with no thrust so they don't move)

Oh yes, I remember. But that Defiant had a bug that let you fire these Mines also the Bug Launchers. -If I remember correctly.

A bug, what are you talking about? It was supposed to fire mines. doh. Bug launchers? WTF are those?

If you want to critcise fine, but do it in your own thread in rants amd raves.
