I'm fucking stunned. In my opinion they were both likely suicidal, or at the very least highly unstable, but in any case that's no excuse for doing what they did. Did they consider how it would affect the people who hit them?
I'm willing to bet they didn't really consider getting hit as a possibility.
I wouldn't feel guilty for them if they were stupid enough to jump in front of my car. Not like it's my fault. It's the same as if they had just hit themselves over the head with a hammer.
Those police officers might have wanted to restrain those women in a car or something, how could they have not seen that second and third suicide attempt coming? Letting them stand beside the speeding traffic.. sorry, but that was slightly retarded.
How the hell did it take SIX men to hold down ONE suicidal woman?
that IS unbelievable, didnt restrain them in the first place "-_- did that happen today? 25th? there was another crash today in shrewsbury, o_O lorry trailer came off and smashed into the front of a van.
Jesus Christ!!!!!
The lorry one was bloody disturbing!
yup suicidal, i wonder why they wanted to kill themselves so bad.
any ways i like the background music they play when they interview the Lorry driver : Cue Sad music " she just ran out in front of us"
Priceless.
If they were suicidecal they did a pretty bad job at it (I'd expect them to jump infront of a train or off a viaduct while a lorry is comming down). Maybe they were or they were on drugs (we had a few incidents here with tourists attemting suicide or foolish things under the influence of drugs). Or they had serious mental conditions (but in that case they would probably be in a Swedish nuthouse or under all time supervision of guardians).
Given the nature of the scene (attempted suicide or complete disorientation or lack of awareness) they should have been secured after they were stopped the first time (throw them into a police car).
But if this happend several weeks ago I wonder what additional info came to mind (drugs used? why suicide? why together? Why in the UK? hy the motorway rather then the train -which generally goes at higher speeds, can't ditch you and can't break as fast as a car on the motorway- etc. ).
Assault. One day in Prison. I understand the judicial system is different, but still, wtf? If they were so hard to restrain her, pin her to the ground.
