cheesemancrusaderWhy are Canadian highschools voting for the next US president?
I kind of explained it in my post. We we're talking about the French Revolution in class and the government that followed the Reign of Terror. Members of councils and crap were elected by Electorial College crap like Americans so for fun we voted who would be next idiot... President of the US. Is that so wrong? Comrade Stalin!! Comrade Stalin!!
I'm lying when I say trust me

OctovonThen again, we've had mock elections in Civics class in grade 10 and I've seen the Bloc Quebecois win. There is indeed a reason why we youngins arent allowed to vote.
Oh my god. If the Bloc ever got power of Canada, the whole world will be fucked.
Master of RealityOh my god. If the Bloc ever got power of Canada, the whole world will be fucked.
Other than their Seperatiste ideas, its a pretty stand-up party much like NDP. The fact that they have seperation from Canada as main idealogy is sole thing that makes them crazy. Besides I think Rick Mercer said it best [I think it was him]: "If Quebec ever left Canada, we could all quit Canada too and join Quebec, outvote them and call it Canada again...". Mind you that was very shabby para-phrasing :p
We had one, 63% of the students voted. 58% voted Kerry, 32% for Bush, and 10% for Nader.
We didn't do anything like that here. And we're in Texas anyways, so it doesn't really matter how you vote for president.
Oh well.
Bush is winning the real election 171-112.
Bush wins! w00t!
^ Hell Yeah!
Our Middle School in CT Bush won, though Nader wasn't on the ballot for some reason.
LOL, I guess the people were so afraid of Nader getting too many votes that they just took him off the ballot.
