WARNING!!: PHILOSOPHICAL TOPIC! IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE MOOD DON' T READ!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I am waiting. I am waiting for something. Funny thing, you are waiting too. I know this. You know it too. Everybody' s waiting for something. I don' t want to wait. We are all waiting for something to change, anything. Everything. I don' t want things to change. But they are. And I am waiting. We will be waiting forever. Even when we are going to be dead we will wait to live again. At this point, if not earlier, you may be wondering what the hell am I talking about. Well, it' s something we all do. Some of us are waiting to give a meaning to life, some others who are at school are waiting to finish school and start working, some others are waiting to live alone, to get married, to be free, to fight, to kill, to die. It' s something we can' t stop doing. We wait. We are walking together through a never ending desert waiting for a city in the desert. A city that does not exist. The problem is, is it worth it? In autumn you start thinking about your summer. You start dreaming about it. You start waiting. But then summer comes and it wasn' t as good as you planned. Sometimes the waiting is better then the thing you are waiting for. Life is a wonderful waiting because we are waiting together and that is all that matters to me. We can wait one hundred years, walk one million miles through the desert but let' s wait together. As people. As friends. As brothers. We can wait all the time. Time. An invention of economy. It looks like we have to do everything and we have to do it by seven, post meridian. What must we really do? Work, produce, invoice. Of course money are necessary, no one could ever say the contrary, but all we need is some money. We need love, we need friends, we need people. The human touch is everything, I always say this and I always will. Earn enough money to ensure yourself a life, food clothes, a house, preferably not rented, maybe a car and, if you can, even a cat or a dog. Life is short. Life is short because at some point it ends. I don' t want to spend my entire existance on a meaningless purpose like earning a lot of money. I want to spend my life and when I' ll stop waiting I want to think with a smile upon my face "it was worth it!".

That reminds me of a song. It involves a horse with no name and a desert that we rode through. Cause, you know it felt good to be out of the rain. 'Sides, no one remembers your name in the desert.

It was "Horse with no name" by America... the part where it said "the sea is a desert with its life underground with a perfect disguise above" kind of inspired me about the title and the metaphor about the desert... It must have been ages since I last listened to that song though...
