Just yesterday between the times of 5:00 PM and I have no idea when. A deadly chemical was released into the air in my neighborhood. Reporters say this chemical had a slight tint of orange and it was going around in my neighboorhood. We had the FireDepartment, The Police, and the Hazmat team.

We were instructed to close all are windows so the chemical could not get in. People say that the chemical disepated after 7:30. My lake used to be a nice blue clean sorta.. lake. Now it's a Chemical Disaster that is brown and ugly. The stuff that was released in the air was the thing we use to clean lakes of algae and it could kill. Its kind of like cholrine except stronger.

Officers and Firemen who got close had there eyes burning and there throat burning and they were throwing up. So people with Respiration masks had to move in (HAZMAT) and test the chemical.

This is a true story and just happend yesterday in the Crystal like area of Silver Springs. The air smelled like shit.

Waters not becoming safe? A perfect lake, gone to hell, fish now float up from the once a peaceful lake.

Hmm cleaning water with chemicals is a bit strange, I think most of the time just draining the mud and making sure the water doesn't stand still for too long is all needed for anual "maintenance". Well eventually the water should flow away or be drained, the lake should be back in it's former glory eventually.

That reminds me of some news story when a whole village was wiped out because a lake nearby released deadly gases. Don't want to scare you though...

You say they uses the chemicals to clean the lage on a yearly basis? What went wrong this time since the lake is obviously destroyed now?
