hey,

im a bigger guy (weighing aprox 120kg) its prolly surprising that i havnt done n e thing about my weight issue in the past, but looking at my self in the mirror the other day i relized "holy crap. i am extremly fat"

basicaly what ive started doing since is rationing my food (so i eat about half of what i used to, but enough so i dont get extremly hungry by the next meal) i now only use 1 tea spoon of suger in tea and coffee ect. i no longer eat any mcdonalds or kfc. and i am eating more things like dahl, curries... soups and salads... sometimes things like steak and salads.. ect.

i now do weights every second day. and going for a 6k walk every alternate day.

so basicly. is what im doing ok? what can i do to improve my situation. and what do u guys do?

It sounds to me like you're doing everything right.

Alot of people who wanna lost weight think that all they need to do is diet, and do zero exercise. So keep it up, you seem to be doing it very sensibly, just remember you don't need to starve yourself.

Well, it's usually advisable to contact your GP before a big change in lifestyle like this, I think it's better to get a professional opinion as they should know what is best for you personally so you don't over/under do it.

yeah take if from me man I weighed 260 pounds (fat) now I'm 159 pounds I over didn't slightly everyone thinks I look sick...So best to ask Your GP unless you wanna be uber skinny and 120 pounds isn't that bad...and you want to lose more, shit man are you like a midget, if you lose anymore weight you'll look very sick...

Keep it up, you won't find that you will wake up next week and be a trim 70kg, but it'll take a while.

You seem to be doing everything right.

By the way - he said 120 kg, not 120 pounds.

120 kilograms is 265 pounds.

I'm on a diet right now, actually. I weighed 205 pounds last week. I'm at about 200 now, and hopefully I can get down to about 180 in the next few weeks.

I'd drink as much water as you possibly can. Always have a water bottle with you, always drink it. Sometimes I drink around 100-120 oz. per day.

Other than that, eat 3 solid meals a day(no sugary foods, fried foods, etc.). Don't under-eat, just make sure you are doing some good exercises(runs, jogs, walks, and other things). Eat a few hours before you go to sleep; don't eat right before going to sleep.

IT sounds like you're basically doing everything right. Just be patient, because you will lose the weight, but it won't be instantaneous. Also, don't drink sodas. They're really sugary and basically unnecessary.
