arcadeplayer987;4061096Is the same like previous versions. I had norton 2003, that it was my first norton and the last because I install bitdefender after it and at first scan it found me 40 trojans, so...norton is crap and I know now is the same. I'm happy with my nod32 and zone alarm firewall(free version)

Haha, well know one saw this coming:rolleyes: a norton bash fest!:D Funny when people come into work and say they have norton, or they need norton, or have a fit when I tell them norton is junk because they paid 90 bucks or whatever for the definitions. Norton just....sucks...:uhm:

You want to know what is worse. I've had several people come in, running "Windows Defender" for an Anti-Virus!

How does McAfee, and Windows Live One Care compare these days? All we sell at my store, is McAfee, Norton, and Live One Care. As well as a System Mechanic 2005, with Kaspersky, on clearance.

I've been using AVG the last few years. While I've heard good things about Avast, AVG has always worked well for me. Maybe I'll install it on my desktop and play around with it...

I have a Norton security suite which includes a firewall and virus scan that comes with my internet subscription. It works fine enough, but otherwise I use AVG.

Anything Norton makes me cringe... Norton should have recommended requirements, like... 10GHz quad Core with 64MB l2 cache 16GB RAM 50k rpm HDD on S-ATA-V with 256MB Cache nForce 10 northbridge ect...you get the point....
