Has anyone of you read the "biography" of Augustus (the Caesar)? Is it any good? I was about to buy it, but then held back until I got a little feedback on it. winkx.gif

I've finished "The Last Full Measure" and I'm currently reading "The Iron Brigade:A Military History" by Alan T. Nolan.

Are you refering to Suetonius's De Vita Caesarum? Because there are thousands of modern biographies of him. As a source, Suetonius is handy, but he's also unreliable, a gossiper and has no chronology (since he writes biographies). Still good if you want to learn more about Augustus.

I just recently finished The 5 People You Meet in Heaven. I thought it was a very good book. It was just too short. I mean when you finish it you just want to keep reading. That's how good it is... eekx.gif

I'm actually reading 3 books now, 1 for school and 2 just for the hell of it. They are Stephan King's IT, that's the one for school, 'Salems Lot, and Insomnia. Do you see a similarity between these books?
