So I was playing football with my friend and we both had our lil bros on our team. It was all cool but I got tackled once and my knee hit the ground hard, nothing major though. I was fine and kept playing... So I woke up this morning and go over to the computer and I bend me knee as far is it can go (Like as if I was jumping) because that is how a stretch, and I felt this pain in it. It felt like it was gonna pop. I stopped and now it hurts every 5 - 10 steps. I dunno what it is. I'm scared I tore something because my 2 of my friends did, they both needed surgery, and one has been in a brace for over 9 months now.

So can somebody tell me what's wrong?

It's not an unbareable pain, I just don't know how serious it is. It's sore with some pain...

Well I'm not and I doubt there are many medical people in this froum..... If it's that bad perhaps you should just see a doctor It could just be one hell of a bruise See what you parent(s) think and if so go see a professional if you must

But like there is no sign of any injury on the outside or anything.

I don't like telling my parents about my injuries cause my mom kinda doesn't let me do anything when I get hurt... ¬.¬

Is it bruised?

EDIT - just saw your last post. Perhaps you've pulled a muscle?

Well if it hurts every time you take a step and feels like it's going to pop, maybe you shouldn't be doing anything. Seeing a doctor is always advisable in these sorts of situations so you don't make it worse.

Yea I'm not known for going to the doctor trust me. And I only feel a bit of brief soreness once every 5 - 10 steps Red.

Take a picture an upload it. I'll take a look at it, I have some medical knowledge.

I suggest you get it looked at. My uncle once had a minor bruise in his knee-cap area, but he couldn't get it addressed immediately due to the lack of real doctors where he lived. He thought it was nothing serious and the pain went away. About 15 years later they discovered the bone was breaking apart there, pieces of his bone were stuck in the joint cartilage and interfering with his movement, and now he can't do any physical activity anymore.

If I'm correct, you have torn your ligament in your Knee. As you bend your Knee do you feel mild pain, but as you get lower you cannot go any futher?

I did. But not as much now. I felt the mild pain but I could go just as far as my other healthy knee. It doesn't hurt every time I do it but it does every few times I do it.
