At first I guessed that a great flash game has a good balance of aesthetics like interaction, story plots, sound, style, timing and stuff, but after a bit of research I know realise that there's a greater importance for elements like gameplay (Challenges and Actions). Recent findings have pointed out that games suited for the internet that are simple, short, and addictive help to make the game greater
So what do you guys think?

Unless you're programming an adventure I'd leave out long story plots. Flash games are ideal for wasting a bit of time, it's got to be short, somewhat challenging and fun. A highscore system for comparing scores with friends also helps.
definatly has to be fun and yeah there designed to play when your bored and have nothing else to do so short sweet and challanging but not hard or ull just get annoyed and play something else.

Because I'm now putting together ideas for my final product, I was probebly thinking of coming up with gameplay ideas and then applying them to different genres to see which ones turn out better. I'll let you know of any further developments in the project.
