Well, i am a canadian but right now my french is quite rubbish
Only English :(. I understand Spanish but can't speak it. Which is quite sad because my whole family can and I'm cuban :p
I've got English, high school Spanish, and a very rudimentary knowledge of German.
I've been taking spanish in school for about three years, and i've picked up a little bit of latin for a while.
French (first language) and a bit of Spanish (3 years in school + 1 week in spain)
English is my native language. I can speak French very well, being able to communicate in conversations with people of French upbringing. I can also speak German, not nearly as well as French, but I consider it one of my pretty strong languages. I did study Chinese for a short while, but could not grasp it's complexity.
I know some basic German...
I grew up with English and German, and learned French for about 7 years with yearly visits to France.
I don't speak English. :p
I know how to read a bit of German. I can learn things *really* fast, such as German..But right now this book series I'm reading is taking all my reading time. Damnit. But it won't take me long and I should have basic German down pretty well in about a month.. The grammar is probably going to be my trouble.
I know a few words in French, Italian, and Spanish. I don't really like Spanish that much, but I think French and Italian are awesome. French and maybe Russian will be the next languages I learn. Possibley Mandarin Chinese or Japanese after that. My plan is to know, or at least be able to read/understand some of the more important languages of the world.
