East Coast is my favourite. The Appalachian Mountains, Nashville, New york, New England, Maine, Paul Reed Smith Guitars. All the good stuff (except Washington DC) is on the Eastern Sea Board. You have not lived until you have started the day with corn meal johnnycakes in Georgia, ridden a Harley Davidson up the Appalachian Highway, stopped to eat red flannel hash in West Virginia, and ended the day with New Haven Pizza in Connecticut. That is life at its finest.

The only good part about the West Coast is western side of Oregon and Washington State. That is it.

Right...and Portland is in Oregon...on the border of Washington and far from California.

Maybe the counters play into the Grumpy Geezer thing you've got going on, but in a dwindling community, it's not a great look to always post things that seem to diminish or consistently one up the contribution of others. (PRS Guitars, you're still on about that, eh? All flash no substance...) Trust me, I've been the grumpy forum troll, (Frets on Fire Fan Forums, represent) it's not as great a look as we think it is.

By the way, I grew up in Kentucky and cut my teeth touring the East Coast in a band based outta Nashville for about 10 years. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Appalachian mountains are gorgeous, the bourbon in my Old Kentucky Home is second to none, and the North East attitude is something I'll carry with me always thanks to a step father from New York City.

Portland, OR is still the best Portland, Eastern Oregon is a gorgeous and eclectic landscape--people notwithstanding, and until you've really lived the two-faced lie that is "Southern Hospitality," I'd appreciate it if you spare me the cultural and geographic lessons.

Edit: It makes me sad that you dislike DC so much. The way our populace has given up on it is a disappointment to me. I just took a remote IT job based out of DC; I look forward to visiting the nation's capital, not just for work, but to visit the home of our government, where the generation after mine is determined to make profound changes in the coming years.

Explain your avatar, does it have any particular meaning / use.

Mine is from Sonic Mania, cause, well, it's just such a good game.

Cover photo matches.

It's a cat. On a fence. He heard a dick joke and it make him smile.

My cover photo is a cause near-and-dear to my heart that I will never ever give up on not ever.

hold on, had to chime in here...

East Coast all the way!
Specifically southern New England - Providence, RI is where I live; an hour from Boston, two and a half hours from NYC, best spot in the region
