foodmaniac2003;4005685Isn't this more of a GD topic?
Anyway, I can't really choose. I've eaten so many tasty things... :)
Yeah I agree but I'll try to answer the thread question...
* Chicken salad w/ boiled eggs with sliced chicken and ranch dressing * A gallon of water after a hard work out * 100 calorie packs of oreos [little shivs of them, 1 pack is 100 calories]
I suppose people will say things like chocolate cake and other things, but I never eat those [or if I do, its very small portions and for only very special occasions like someones birthday] and tasty and bad for you are things that don't go hand in hand for me atleast.
Hmm, Three options.
1st. A delightful platter. Beginning with thick cut, home fries. Soft and tender, and seasoned to perfection. Followed by tender, moist grilled chicken, drenched in Bourbon sauce. Finish the the array with red rice & beans, also drenched in bourbon sauce.
2nd. Start with made from scratch biscuits. Then a tender Country Fried Steak, smothered with sawmill gravy. The sides are succulent home made Mashed Potatoes, and a delightful Broccoli casserole. Finish the meal with large frozen mug. Filled with home made ice cream. Topped with Hot fudge, walnuts, and whipped cream. Lets not forget the cherry on top.
3rd. A selection of moist, tender, fried chicken strips. A Sausage Gravy dipping sauce. Fries, and "Texas Toast". End the meal with ice cream, blended with your choice of a number of candies. Or just stick with the traditional Oreo Blizzard.
Garlic Bread with tomato sauce smoothered all over it with Spagetti Bolinaise and HOT choco fudge cake with Ice-Cream at the side. :D
I have to be starving hungry to truely appreciate a food! but hmmmmm..... mint chocolate chip icecream, salty pretzels, chocolate coated apple, butternut squash soup, spit roasted pork with apple sauce sandwich, turkey cranberry and stuffing sandwich, microwaved croissant with butter, bananas in custard and chocolate cheesecake. Really depends on what i fancy to eat at the time but if i had to choose just one it would be the spitroast pork and apple sauce sandwich!

South Indian Garlic Chili curry from my local Indian restaurant. It literally blows your brains out with flavour. I'm slobbering thinking of it right now. After that, a seafood platter from a fish restaurant in Calendar, then after that a pizza made by a restaurant in Ayr called Chiccini's.
I didn't make it!
It would have to be a homemade pizza 'toast' slice made by my very own mother. Quite simple to make, too, just slap cheese, tomato, and anything else you'd usually have on a pizza onto a slice of bread and pop in the oven for ten minutes.
Orgasm in toast form.
Got to be; Pie and Mash with green liqure. Of course I love a good liver or eal, even steak and pork pie. Northen Fish and Chips, all the bests chips come from the north.
No! I'm Spamacus!

Can't really answer this question. :uhm:
However, one of the most memorable meals I had was during my last night in Rome last year. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere even better. The ironic thing is that I can't remember what we had. I could detaile every single other meal on that trip, but not that one...
Roast Duck with stewed venison, dressing and giblet gravy slathered cornbread.
With a tall hot glass of sweet tea.
Man, there are so many great foods out there that I couldn't possibly say which one is best. I mean, there's the soft and tasty fois de gras, hot shepherds pie on cold days, French bread from Normandy, and Cordon Bleu. Plus there's all the foods I love that I can't think of now.
Ok. But, if I had to say one thing, it would have to be the Norman bread. I could live off that. It's not the best tasting food I ever had, but I could eat it all day and not get bored of it.
