Angel_Mommy you can buy magick books at nearly any/all book stores now-a-days :)
Affirmative :) . However, it seems that many writers exploit people's unawarenss on the subject in some really bad ways, the worst of them beign hazardous to health and sanity... I don't know any dedicated magic stores anyway. I do have a few good links though. :)
NusentinsainoIf I had magic, I would get rid of all the malevolent leaders.
Just don't let them get you down. ;) Cheer.
If I had MAGIC powers I'd use those MAGIC powers to rid the world of other people with MAGIC powers so I'd be the only one with MAGIC powers so I could rule the world with my MAGIC. I'd also use my MAGIC powers to rid the world of people who post dictionary links on teh intarw3b.
Hmmm... You look somehow MAGICALLY keen on MAGIC.
Dunno. Be kinda neat to be able to have extraordinary powers.... I met a fellow, who, attested by many witnesses, could levitate and make things move with his mind... I never got to see him do this, but I know a few people that had been scared shitless by his powers. Another fella, last night to be exact, had me pick any object in the room while he waited in the adjacent room, and would come out and know which object I picked just buy looking at me when he said "was it this hat?"... I thought he was reading my eyes until I made sure he couldn't. Weird shit.

Some cool friends you have. I don't meet extrasensories too often... Well, not including myself, if that counts.

I'd give someone I don't like a really bad case of scleroderma and leave them to die.

Angel_MommyI said any book store.. even walden books has a whole section dedicated to magickal studies and the like.
And I agreed (that magic-alike books are easy to get pretty much everywhere). Truly specialised stores (like those situated near the actual magic saloons), however, seem much more of a deal to me, but, then again, I'm not the one to be speaking of it - I don't seek any books on magic ever so often (hell, I'll download it if I need one).
what do you mean the writers "exploite" peoples unawarness????? i know some STORES try to do that, and if you go to a palm reader they try to trick you into paying houndreds of dollars when they are an obvious fake.. but.. i dont get what your saying about the writers of the magick books ...

Stores? True, but I was speaking about the content of the books themselves... Do you honestly believe there are no trash-content 'magic' books out there? Maybe you just haven't tumbled upon some worthless *censored* I once managed, out of luck. There are many at least effective books on magic out there, I'm sure, but... Jesus tapdancing christ!!! Some *writers* honestly believe they can convince people into following the most stupid patterns (which wouldn't work by any means of magic or whatever else out there), for fame or financial reasons, others are just so dang illiterate they suggest using open-ended contours for defensive purposes, the third's objective is simply to recruit sectants or pure zombies (and that's the trick -only- destructive or completely pointless sects utilise), others cary simple disinformation, which, considering the subject, is dangerous - some *censored* *censored* even suggest rituals that look like no harm, but, in fact, can make you a cripple for the rest of your days, or even worse...

*Ahem*

Sorry. There are dilettantes at every subject, I know, I'm just unlucky to have run into them so often - and that's quite... Disappointing. At least I know a few good titles, shall I ever need some info. :)

I don't know about you guys, but I would just move stuff and crap for kicks. If you magically made yourself immortal, then you would suffer. I don't know about you guys, but someday I think maybe when I'm 80 or so, getting pain from my body because I've lived so long... that's when I want to die. But back on topic, I would probably also slay beasts. I would also put a forcefield around my house.

That's what I was talking about. :nodding: I even remember browsing the net for 'magical' stuff just as to have a good laugh - gets a bit boring after a few tries though... A book on magical beasts? That would be cool (having an actual study at hand). I remember scientific works on certain magical species (capricorns, hydras, even gryphons), but not any (actual) complete collections... At least not with complete geo- and biological studies.
