Over the past few years I've developed quite an appreciation for spirits, as it appears many here have. Favourites inlcude: -Single malt scotch (typically towards highland malts, including the Balvenie, Oban, Dalwhinnie and Glenmorangie) -Congac (VSOP or better, please) -Cointreau & Grand Marnier Lately I've also been appreciating Jamacian rum.

A few cocktails also, chief amongst them the Sidecar and Casablanca.

More recently, I've developed quite an affinity for microbrews. To date, Deschutes Brewery's Cinder Cone Red and Widmer Brothers' Drop Top Amber ales top that list.

And let's not neglect San Luis Rey, Arturo Fuente, Peterson, GL Pease and Cornell & Diehl!

Lastly, it goes without saying: coffee.

Women are all good and well, but so very high maintenance!

Lagers: Beck's, Cobra, San Miguel Beers: St. Andrews, Bitter & Twisted (both are Scottish; I doubt anyone outside of the country will have tried them) Spirits: Schnaps (particularly the stuff with gold in it) Whisky: Tobermoray (again, this is Scottish, so I doubt you've tried it) Tea: Earl Grey (damn, that bergamot oil they put in it is amazing)

And water. When I'm not drinking alcohol (not to say I'm drinking alcohol a lot, because I don't), I don't drink much else other than water or tea. I don't like the sugary aftertaste of anything sweet, including fruit juices.

Yeah the water thing here too. Hey on that beer, we partake in the local Scottish pub we have here, theres a beer, cant remember the name but it comes with little bits of wood floating in the bottles and cans, do you know of it!?? Tastes real good.
