NiteStryker;5442840Alot of this is TL : DR, but just kinda skim thru it. Very funny / pathetic stuff. Cant tell if she is srs or not.

Curtis Got Slapped By A White Teacher!

from what i understand, while force isn't allowed in schools, and this may or may not have been racially motivated (i'm inclined to believe it was not), this really doesn't warrant a thousands of dollars of damages. granted, i'm white and don't know what it's like to be subject to racism, but i have been subjected to other forms of verbal abuse, and i can say it really doesn't mean anything. the way i see it, compensation should be paid to cover costs of dealing with or resolving physical or emotional damage. 250,000 is a joke. it's simply trying to profit off a lawsuit. I'm not somebody who tolerates racism, but this is a classic case of using the race card to make money. that 40-page letter is filled with affirmations of the child's and the teacher's race to such a degree that it can't be anything but an attempt to make some money off this.

As for if it is a joke, there are a lot of retards out there.

Rofl, you used to be able to whack kids pretty hard in school. All this fuss over a face smack? Elementary school is a great time to grow a pair.

as disgraceful as trying to milk 250,000 dollars out of it? i don't agree with slapping children, but i think that race is being made an issue. if the attacker shouted racial slurs and tormented the child more than once, there'd be some basis to call it racially motivated. as it is, the person slapped happened to be black.

Exactly, the only racists involved are the ones choosing to see race as a factor.

They really are. School's have become too easy as well, but that's a whole other matter.

I'm 19. when i see the little shits children have become, i have trouble comprehending what changed between my generation and them... we're going to have serious problems in 20 years... i'm not necessarily supporting of violence, but laissez faire parenting is screwing up children, turning them into spoilt little shits who cry and scream when presented with something other than what they want...
