Does anyone know how I can improve my concerntration at school? My friends are always laughing at me because I can barely keep my mind fixed on what I'm doing :(

You got ADD or ADHD or too much caffeine. There's medicine for two of those things.

Go to bed early, say 8:30 if you are in year 7. Year 8 upwards, say 9:30 or 10:00. Have a good 8 hours sleep, set your alarm for 6am. Get up, get some cereal, cook a piece of toast as a side dish with only butter on it. For the cereal. have either Weetbix with fruit or something with no sugar.

Have a glass of orange juice, or any other juice you like. After that, go for a warm shower, get dressed in fresh school clothes. You should wash your clothes every night. Make a salad sandwich for lunch, plus a popper or a small 600ml bottle of juice. Along with a banana and/or oranges, mandarin's, apples or some other fruit. Pack a water bottle to drink a lot between (and if classes if your allowed).

Sit away from your friends during class, so they don't distract you. Only talk to them if you are asking to borrow a pencil, rubber, etc. Listen to nobody except the teacher and keep answering (even if you don't know them) the questions the teacher ask. Put stuff away that might distract you.

After school, go home, do your homework THEN go do what you usually do after school. Do your homework after a afternoon sport if you have one. Eat all your vegetables during dinner, urinate regularly so you don't have to ask to go to the toilet during class or dinner.

Don't have any dairy 3 hours before bed, that includes chocolate. Ask not to be disturbed when doing your homework, even if someone is on the phone for you. Go for 2 showers a day. Brush your teeth 3 times a day, since it has a fresh feeling to it. Once in the morning, after afternoon tea and before you go to bed.

Drink less cordial, fizzy drinks and flavored milk. If you buy stuff from the canteen/tuckshop, don't buy stuff every day and don't buy junk food. Don't buy stuff at the shop before school. Eat less lollies and all the junk.

That should help you a great deal. It will take a couple of weeks to get into the routine and out of your old one. Good luck mate! :cya:

(Thanks for the rep, Milo, appreciate the kind words)

Lol, not sure what other countries call rubbers/erasers. Imagine asking for rubber in a room full of 6th graders.

If he can't concentrate for a long time, how do you expect him to follow (and read) all that?* Kudos for taking all the time to write it nonetheless. *I meant that in a joky kind of way, of course...

If you drink coffee, dose it well. Have one in the morning and stick to a max of about 2-4 over the course of the day.

I used to drink 15 cups a day, and it did my concentration absolutely no favor. I was countering the effects of severe insomnia at the time, and believe me, I felt a lot better once I had my coffee consumption down to a normal level.

If you don't drink coffee, you could try black tea. I drink both coffee and tea without milk or sugar, and I find that tea is actually better in the long run.

As Jebus also correctly mentioned, your diet and sleep are two factors that can majorly affect you in terms of concentration.
