AlDaja;3488410Sorry if the truth hurts...

Sure does. Where did you take your wife out on you two's first date? Was it wafflehouse? What was the deal breaker for your engagement? Did you get her a nice expensive gold ring or a one of those cute plastic ones out of the arcade toy dispenser?

If you say so – perception is reality? From your perspective it may be true, because this is what you know and except to be the norm – no fault to you, it is just what society fosters. Unfortunately, many relationships revolve around money and it easily spirals out of control when money becomes an issue as in lack of and it forms the basis of what men and women unfairly perceive about the other. Fortunately, I was raised to see women differently and given this influence plus personal experience I have learned not to get too deeply involved with a woman who had the classic signs of being a gold digger. As such, I eventually found a stable lady (whom I’ve been married to for 13 years) who through thick and thin has stayed by my side, even during the early years when money as in lack of was primary. True relationships and the ability to stabilize that relationship goes far beyond a woman’s need for money – how stupid of men to think that is all a woman wants. It is sad that this even spills over into would-be friendships – I see so many people “hanging” with one another because they expect some material objective out of the friendship, as opposed to just liking the person. I bet all the young males who think women are only into money completely ignore young ladies like jill...because MTV and the Internet tells you to.

There's a reason I said love comes second. You win the girls attention with money and win her love with personality. You can call me young and nieve for believing this but it doesn't make it any less of a truth.

Jill;3488393Women in general have been given a bad rap....since Eve in Genesis in the old testiment.
Here' s a fact: Eva had sex with 100% of the world male population. Anyway, Eva wasn' t the first woman. Lilith was. I don' t know the whole story but I think now she is an immortal deamon (she didn' t have to leave Eden) who comes at night (usually in kids' beds) and basically should be the symbol of sexual desire. As I said, don' t know/remember much and I honestly don' t want to look into my old school notes, sorry.
Just remember guys.....your mom is a woman too.

The only woman I don' t go on with well. Don' t remind me that.

Let' s just say that without women my life would be boring, meaningless, futile, you get the point. My family (and by family I mean my friends, not my blood) is basically made of women. Women are the source of all joy in my life. Thank you, women.

That back in old days, in France there was actually i real vote in the Government about women being human. And it ended 32 votes to 31 that women were humans and weren't aliens! This is true! Really! Imagine if it went the other way round and women were officially calssed as aliens?!:cya:

There's a reason I said love comes second. You win the girls attention with money and win her love with personality.

Then this is the way it will be for you and your perspective on love/life will be shadowed...but if you are ok with it, then don't be surprised when relationships fail if this is your initial insticts toward women.

You can call me young and nieve for believing this but it doesn't make it any less of a truth

I do not see where I refered to you as young and nieve given I had no idea your age - it was a generalization toward young males - so it is a personal statement about yourself, I presume you feel I implied? If so I appologize, but you said it, not I.

Sure does. Where did you take your wife out on you two's first date? Was it wafflehouse? What was the deal breaker for your engagement? Did you get her a nice expensive gold ring or a one of those cute plastic ones out of the arcade toy dispenser?

I suspect you are trying to be insulting or are drawing conclusions from how you preceive life and relationships as you have already stated - so be it, no matter what I explain will matter because you've already made up your mind about how women think. But to address your question re-read my post with regard to money - obviously it was lacking. further re-read Jill's post. Not all women are shallow.

Its nothing to be ashamed at, the ideal mate between the sexes has always been like that. Whereas males prefer superficiality in prospective mates i.e. physical beauty. Women prefer monetary value. Thats why you see hot women with ugly rich guys but never handsome men with ugly women.

Its even a common phrase that 'Women marry up in life, not down" that phrase was talking about materialistic and monetary things. Charm and personality MAY win a man a womans love but possessions will always win a womans affection.

All women are not evil. Some will corrupt men to the point of killing each other over them. Others will take all your money and run, give you diseases, or drive you insane. Then there is a good portion who are nice, calm, smart, ect.

I do think money is more evil than women. Money has caused more wars and death than women.

Some girls are pretty bad, mainly in middle school. You just have to wait for them to get over that "gossipy bitch" stage.

Some, but not all. I manged to hold an intelligent conversation with a 14 year old girl for over 2 hours.

The main rule of life is that every rule has an exception:p

You must have quite a jem of a woman to have this outlook towards them.

You referred to everyone here under 25. I'm in that bracket which makes me young from your point of view. You appeared to be insinuating by the "lad" and under 25 reference that most of us are unexperienced aka naive.

I suspect you are trying to be insulting or are drawing conclusions from how you preceive life and relationships as you have already stated - so be it, no matter what I explain will matter because you've already made up your mind about how women think. There was no insult intended by my post. I was trying to get you to think in terms of how much money. More specifically how much money your poured into your relationship before you sealed the deal in marriage.
