found this map while searching around, not sure how often it gets updated though. typical of Britain to be covered in cloud :(

http://www.die.net/earth/

check out the different Peters, Mollweide or equirectangular projection maps as well. (copy/pasted that bit)

Thinking about it.

Neat!

As you can see we have around 5 minutes of sunlight here in Sweden.

By looking at that map I can see that it'll be dark soon :'(. Seriously, it sucks ass. It's dark when I go to school and it's dark when I go home! I looked it up and the sun rises at 8:45 and sets at 14:49! :cort:

Oh well, I still wub the winter :D.

Hmm intresting, I can see that the darkness is *so* close to me now (Leiden, the Netherlands). Intresting website for sure, added it to my bookmarks.

Hey, that's pretty neat. Nothing out of the ordinary for me (still sunlight for half the day here), but it looks like some clouds are headed my way.

Yeah, hard to live with such extremes, it's either light or dark all the time, depending on the season. Wonder how that affects the biological clock...

I'm going to spend a year at a place that's only a few km's below the Arctic circle. On the summer the sun never goes down and on the winter it never goes up...

Cool site! Anyone notice the difference in cloud coverage between the Northern and Southern Hemisphere?
