In your entire life. What has been the worst hosting experience you have ever had? Can be downtime, support responses, etc.

The hosting from my ISP.. Coulnd't get any website at all, while they said it was possible. I gave up after 2 months of hard work. Btw the ISP was Zonnet, but was taken over by Versatel, now it works though.

I once was without any internet connection for two whole days because they "accidently" disabled out connection. Then ofcourse there were a couple of random downtimes of a few hours, most when the whole phone network went down but a few where only ADSL failed on us for a couple of hours.

Nothing major as you can see apart from that two day down time, and we never where compensated for it in any way. All hail planet internet and KPN. *cough*

Had problems with my ISP before, random disconnects and the likes. It happened too often. However, recently everyone in the neighbourhood got fibercables installed so we're runnin' on 10mbit now, with the new ISP I've had no problems. I'm a happy panda, at the moment.

Well, my first service-provider was EasyLineHost and it was by far the worst service I got. Paid in advance, intended to host my site and forums there, but MySQL didn't work and they didn't want to fix it. Then they claimed the files were "illegal" and demanded me to remove them, which I did, but guess what? No forum, no server, no service... and they thought they could just keep my money.

Took a month to get it out and I was close of suing them of contract violation. Would had kicked their arse too.

Filefront = Worst ever.

Well I'm joking of course. I haven't had any 'major' problems, only a few downtimes for a few hours. Though when I first got 512k internet it took a week to set up because according to my ISP they didn't recieve our requests to sign up.

The hosts for my website I used before my current ones told me they had better things to do than to help me, so I told them where to stick it. My new ones have a much slower SQL server though, which sucks.

Wanadoo. Once one of thier internet servers were down and I could not use the internet for a week..very much fun indeed. But other than that little niggle I have not had any other problems with them.
