ya. some of them, like HBK, are drug free, but the majority are one steroids or something similar. I remember HHH, who, if you see him, is the biggest 'roid user since Scott Steiner, decided to get off steroids for about a month or so at Wrestlemania. Yeah, he looked nothing like his normal roid raged self. He didnt exactly look fat, but you could tell he was off of steroids.

Filetrekker Is Anybody reading what I am saying? Did you know, for example, that most of the program's on TV are fake? I know this is hard to understand, but Springfield really isn't a town populated by yellow people, and JR wasn't shot. Everybody who watches WWE, TNA, Ect. Ect. know that it is not real. Just the same as when you go to see a movie, you know it's not real, but it's a way of escaping reality, being able to make things happen when they can not usualy happen, a way of making people forget about real life. There wasn't a conspiracy and one day everyone went, "OH GOD! ITS NOT REAL!?" It's been painfully obvious and supposed to have been from day one it's not. People do NOT rise from the dead and set people on fire by calling thunder from the sky like The Undertaker did, and yes, blowing up a stage with someone under it is a criminal offence. Almost every wrestling fan over the age of 15 will be talking about "Works", "Angles", "Pushes" and other stuff like this, the Wrestling Industry is designed to be and is openly, fiction. Many of it's fans openly predict, talk about and work on it's story lines and plot angles. Even WWE.com post "shoot" material that gives away the plot and talks about how it really is compaired to the story. The whole "I can't beleve this because Wrestling is fake!!!! " has to stop. No Shit. But so is every other work of fiction. It's NOT SUPPOSED to be real. Am I the only one here with a sprinkle of an understanding of the Wrestling Industry?

The only problem I have with the fake "professional" wrestling industry is that, even though it is clearly not real, it tends to taint people's outlook on the actual sport of wrestling. (Wrestling is, by the way for those who don't know, an actual sport that doesn't involve chairs or guns or whatever the hell else they use on those shows, and isn't fake at all.) I wrestle, and I get weird looks all the time when I tell other people, and have been asked everything from "What's your wrestling name?" to "Do you wear spandex?" Really makes me want to go down there and shoot all of the head producers in the head.

Moronic form of entertainment, that's all I'll say.

Trekker, I know they feel pain from their scripted moves/landings etc. I never said that they didn't. Number one and foremost, WWF/e type wrestling is NOT a sport. It is entertainment. Peroid. Number 2, who cares if they volentarily want to be on roids? Really who cares? I used to watch it when I was younger, was funny just like a cartoon and I knew it was fake. I've been watching it far longer than you Trekkie and I think I know just as much if not more than you about it ;) It got old and I grew up to boxing (which sucks these days)

Ya i did some high school wrestling for a while back in the day. It really is a sport, and a tough one at that. WWE makes everyone i knew think that instead of headlocks and takedowns, that i would give everyone a spear and a jackhammer. Im forced to watch wwe cause my brothers are addicts and i havent moved out yet. I got bored with it after 5th grade. I honestly dont like it very much, i just think we should give credit where its due and admit that the guys dont just roid out and do nothing (except that lazy bastard Scott Steiner). Speakin of which, what ever happened to Brock Lesnar? He just randomly disappeared after a shitty wrestlemania match. And Beef, I dont know about u, but UFC seems to satisfy my violence fix nowadays

Oh hell yeah. Agreed, I know they are out there feeling pain from their moves, I never agrued that. My whole point was who gives a flying turd if they choose to roid up. It's not like they are actually in a real compettion where roids gives them an advantage:lol:

I have a friend who wrestled the real sport, I know where you are coming from. When we fought as kids I tried not to get on the ground because I could never get out of his holds:mad:

And my whole point was that your assuming this drugs policy is about Steroids when it's about overusing painkillers and recreational drugs. Not a great deal if any wrestlers use "ROIDS", especialy not these days.

I'm just going to give up now though because clearly nobody is paying attention to what i'm saying, I could say this until i'm blue in the face and be responded with "ROIDS ROIDS ROIDS!".

Uh, yeah, I think I might have used that sentence at some point.

Lol.

This isn't the 1980's, this isnt the World Wrestling Federation anymore, and nobody want's to see Hulk take on Andre. Things are very, very different in the industry today.

Viva la revolucion!

As long as the two aren't confused, I'm OK with the WWE (WWF? WWFE? WWWWEFEWEFEEWE?) It just pisses me off when the two get mixed up. It's never good.

What's your wrestling name? My god...

ROIDS ROIDS ROIDS Of course it's also about recreational drug abuse. That goes with any job, doesn't it? But I say if it isn't affecting their job performance then butt out of their private lives. Not even sure why they would want to wreck their career using those hard drugs like caine, smack etc.
