Ok i'm not a x-mas hater i love it. BUt do you think people are getting ready for it a bit to early? Like a person done my road has had there lates up for a few weeks now. I was also in the mall yesterday and there was x-mas music playing and there were a line of kids waiting to set on santas knee. It about a month till x-mas to! it's not even december yet. It seems everyone gets into x-mas earlyer and earlyer each year does anyone else notice this our is it just me?

Yeah, you sort of have a point there. I heard Christmas music on the radio about two weeks before Thanksgiving. Usually you don't hear that until the day following Thanksgiving.

As for shopping, a lot of people are out and about trying to get gifts early on and (supposedly) save some money.

Either it arrives early, or people just want to get all the shopping madness out of the way. :p

Tradtonlly the holiday season starts after thanksgiving, and the sales ,christams lights and christams music usaly stat about the same time. It's not really to early as people have alot of shopping to do and the stores have limted amount of items so they need time to restock for the hungrey customers, so it's not really too early, IMO.

Well, here in the center of where I live there are already christmas lights and stuff so yes, a little too early. I don't mind it though, it gives a nice atmosphere in the "always so boring Aalten".

Actually, I've heard the christmas shopping season "officially' starts when the santa at the end of the macy's thanksgivings days parade makes his appeareance. So if the stores around you are getting ready it isn't really all that unusual, it might just be that your're noticing it more as you get older. I have heard though that some stores have a christmas in july sale for all the stuff they didn't get rid of.

You said X-mas alot in that post, you'd almost guess you're talking about a different holiday.( J/k)

I work for my uncle during the thanksgiving holidays to help sell christmas trees. He claims someome came in onctober wanting a chirstmas tree, thats a tad overboard.

Yes, Christmas seems to get earlier every year. I think all the fuss shouldent start till December 1st. I get fed up of seeing decorations e.t.c up in November and also from hearing the Christmas music to early.

Dear God yes. It's kind of sad when you think about it.
