The Canadian Prime Minister, Paul Martin was about 10 minutes from my house the other day at a church and I didn't find out until I was reading todays paper on the crapper! I would have liked to see the old man and said a few things.

Candian Prime Minister"It is with great sadness that I learned today of the sudden death of Mr. Carmen Provenzano, former Member of Parliament for Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario."

He was in town to attend the funeral of Mr. Carmen Provenzano.

I like Paul Martin, and I would have like to have been able to shake the mans hand...

Maybe next time.

That sucks giz... some other important political figure will die close to your town again. George W. Bush, the president of the United States, was close to my town a few weeks ago. I didn't learn of his presence until he was already gone to. There are some things that I would have liked to do to him too.... although, shaking his hand is not one of them...

Heh. One time we had to wait for 10 minutes at a light because George Bush Sr. was going to the mall... I think it was around Christmas. We were in a hurry, too.

That's how you get your ass tackled by the Secret Service and get thrown into jail. Depending on what you had in mind, of course. Which would happen if you did anything to any one of the former presidents too.

Yeah, I was at the Regent Esplanade hotel in Zagreb and the man walks into the same room I was in. My parents and I were the only people in the room, so I thought I was going to meet him, but he brought along is enterage of reporters and media personell.

My school was opened by Margaret Thatcher, a previous British prime minister. Never met her though sad%20%28frown%29.gif Also Tony Blair, our current PM, visited my school as part of a tour. My P.E teacher even gave him a few tennis lessons! Again, never saw him though. Pity. I would have given him a piece of my mind.

Yeah yeah everyone says that but if I ever met president Bush I would probably shake his hand, regardless of the fact that I hate his leadership and policies.
