Harvest whatever organs, tissue or hair a living human needs and burn the rest.
Cremated. I don't want to take up some spot in a graveyard with some overpriced tombstone that no one will ever visit. My only wish is to have my ashes dispersed over the city where I was born.

If no-one would visit your grave it sounds like you have some wonderful family and friends.

What a depressing topic. =p

Graeme;5423185I've voted for cremation. Pretty much because that's what I want(ed), obviously. Why? Because I don't like the idea of leaving a shell of myself in some empty, stinky hole in the ground.
Don't be forgetting them worms. They'll eat you ali... dead. ;)

Ensign Riles;5423199Realistic: Donated to a medical school.
Get that German Doctor on the case... if he's still around then.

Billz1282;5423206Left to rot as i'll probably die alone, miserable and at a less than expected age (50's if I don't change my ways).
redgroupclan;5423412One day I'll probably die in my house or apartment, and no one will ever know until bills start going unpaid.

Well aren't you the depressed ones? :(
On a less serious side, I'd like my brain to be placed into a jar and connected to a computer so I can create Skynet.

Or the next Yuri?

Cremation then? =p

Can't really say I've put a great deal of thought into this. Alike Graeme, even though dead, I don't like the idea of my body being stuck in a hole six feet underground, rotting, and being eaten by worms and the like. Good recycling maybe, but doesn't have that appeal.. you know?

I'd probably go by the way of a Cremation. I think being blasted into space would be a nice way to go too, but that could prove to be a tad bit costly.

For a routine human anatomy course I assumed they wanted relatively normal bodies. Otherwise I could just imagine what would be said in their first surgeries. =p

Well someone might visit my grave every once in a while, but for the other 364 days in the year its just a random spot in the ground, what's the point? When my friends and close family members have died, its just wasted space in the ground and eventually my casket will be dug up and moved elsewhere so the cemetery can re-sell my plot.

I think getting blasted into space is stupidly sentimental and a waste of resources for the entire planet. Nothing will ever happen to your ashes, and even if you launch your entire frozen body you're never going to get revived before you fall into a star or get banged up beyond repair by micrometeorites. So really, you're just selfishly robbing the planet of the materials required to make you and an entire rocket.

It's not like they'll be up there for centuries to come either. I think most of them return to earth within a few years.
