Ok, so I don't often start threads, particularly outside of Tech. But I stumbled across this little gem on YouTube today whilst looking for Abney Park stuff.
From the poster's description: "What if the Internet had existed a hundred years ago? Step in the WayBack Machine, Sherman, and see all your Internet favs-- Dax Flame, Star Wars Kid, the Numa Numa Guy... Even the Swift Boat Vets-- Steampunk'D for your enjoyment!"
I got a kick out of it... I suspect that anyone here who appreciates early silent films (you know, the kind with piano and text card accompaniment) will, also. And even if not... well, there's just something about Numa Numa in front of a phonograph's bell!
Cute…but Taft was Roosevelt’s VP and later encouraged and promoted to run for President by Roosevelt…thought I’d just toss that in as the “comment” portion of YouScope 1900.
