Its really hard now to not come across a video that says This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation Its Really annoying. The Family Guy Star Wars eppy that was on a few days ago. Gone. I find it aggravating. I mean, they do have the right to do that but its damn annoying.

Yeah, it pisses me off as well. But the companies that put copyright claims on their shit have every right to do so, and YouTube doesn't want to get sued.

Law is law. Whether or not I agree with some terms of copyright, I don't think protesting it illegally is the way to go.

I do, however, wish all copyright infringements on YouTube would be permanently deleted. It is annoying to open up a movie and read that it was copyrighted. Clutters up the place. Imagine if the staff here simply blanked out every single post that normally would be deleted, I think it would be an eyesore to quite a few members here.

I don't even really know what Family Guy or South Park is. :uhm:

Sometimes it's difficult to determine what is copyrighted. The other day I was watching some standup routines by Mr. Bean in front of a live audience.

I just figure regarding youtube that if it is on there I'm going to watch it, regardless of copyright laws. It's not my job to police what they put up there. It would be the equivalent of Having someone project copyrighted material onto the side of a building. If I find it interesting I'm going to watch it, as it is right out there.

That said, I don't much care if said copyrighted material is removed, as they have the right to do it.

You didn't know? Truth is Ensign lives in a box. :D But they are going to copyright their crap. so you better enjoy it while its there. And while I enjoy watching Family Guy and others (due to me not having a TV in my room anymore) I enjoy the original content that people post on YouTube. Some of it is funny.
