If you needed a new flash player it would probably pop up with a message saying you need to update your flash player and not show anything at all (like not even the rectangle it would go in), could either just be Youtube (although it's working for me) or your internet connection interfering with it. But like I said, it shouldn't be your flash player unless you get this message

If you get this error message, it means that you either have JavaScript turned off in your browser, or you need the latest version of the Flash player.

Must be a slow down of your internet speed. That happened to me several times now as I recall.

Why should it? It can't screw up your internet more than your Firewall or Antivirus does.

Yea that happens with me sometimes. But only on some videos for awhile. It's not my internet connection though because I got 5mb download speed.

It could be many problems such as slow internet, a large amount of traffic or a program interrupting with the connection.

What I would first do if you experience this a lot is restarting the router, downloading the latest player, deleting cookies and history and checking what programs you're actually running while watching videos on youtube.

If you still can't get your player to buffer contact your ISP.

Well actually.... Hate to be a smart-ass, but there was a problem with the new (think it was Flash or Java) where if you had an older version of Internet Explorer, it would just crash when you opened it. Some error with the initialization when it started.

I think this plus your ping issue earlier means a problem with your connection/service provider.
