Hello everyone... I only just got GTA: San Andreas and I seem to be having a problem with the controls. I'm used to the Vice City controls, having played that game for a long time and now I'm having trouble to adjust. Can anyone tell me how best to drive a bike and/or a car? PS: I think the mission the game begins with is pretty hard for a first start. Thanks Benito
ehm, the controls are exactly the same as Vice City. what's the issue?
the first mission, Big Smoke, involves you escaping the Ballas car that is chasing you. what many new players don't realise is that you can repeatedly tap 'x' for a speed boost. use this to stay right with Sweet and then Ryder. it's actually pretty easy if you use the rapid 'x' option to cycle faster.
Even if the controls were somehow different, you could change them. Simple.
they arent changed maby its your settup
The only thing that really bugs me is that you're forced to use the analog steering control. Always preferred the D-Pad.
ive allways used the anologue stick the other ones pathetic i dont really like it but i can still use it

Yeah. So you're obviously happy with the fact that they have excluded D-Pad, but for people like me who have never used the Analog in any of the previous games it is a tad unfair that they haven't even included the D-Pad controls as an option. I hear it is a huge point of annoyance for many fans of the GTA series and Rockstar have recieved numerous complaints.
but the d-pad has always been used for the radio and yea im happy :)
