Okay im going to point out something i think may open a few doors to the dates of the next GTA's. Okay here goes- Vice City : 1986 San Andreas : 1992 Liberty City Stories 1995? GTA III : 2001, Okay this might sound odd but i think GTA's Might be sepperated by 3 years. If i am not wrong then the next GTA's might be set in 1989, and 1998. The one in 98' will probably be made first. The one in 89' After. I believe the one in 98' will have a few states. The one in 89 will have the Entire Nation. Think of the possibilities... in 89 the Earthquake Struck San Fierro... I Could imagine a Mission on a bike running like hell of on a collapsing Freeway from a helicopter. Also you could see Los Santos just as Grove Street start goin down, id like to see the characters sweet was talking about like Big/Little Devil and like Big Bear and stuff when they fought for the death for Grove street. Plus you could work in Vice to see Rosenburg Leave. Time will tell if my Theory is true or Just Coincidence, Anyone know when GTA and GTA 2 were set???...

I find that unlikely

LCS will be arround 1998. I think the next console / PC of GTA (if any) will either A) continue on from the trend they have been following and make a grand theft auto london (a modern version) or continue on from the GTA 1 cities with the GTA 2 cities.

For Some reason i doubt that?... i think they know that if they do that it will all start to get old. I mea ngoing to the same cities over and over again... And that still doesnt cross out my year frame....

Well according to your examples your just going over San Andreas and Vice City again. The cities from GTA 2 or London have not been made in the current or next generation style, so its origonal enough (and more origonal than your suggestion)

As for the year, that ties into the re-visiting the whole vice city and san andreas stuff, wich doesnt really make sence to go there. A new GTA may more likely take either the 70's or 60's (GTA london + 60's = Good ) route (a decade that hasnt been used yet hence more originality)

If it's in the '60s or '70s, I'd expect to see Mike Toreno, The Truth and Salvatore Leone there.

They did the East & West Coast and I guess GTAIII is Chicago? There's nothing left but to do major cities in different countries or something. It'd be cool if they did a GTA where we fly from country to country visitng cities like London, Berlin, Moscow, Hong Kong, Lima, Paris, Mexico City etc. I hope the next GTA has some new stuff cuz the USA is getting old. They did the 80's and 90's so what's left, the 70's or 2000's? hmm I'm also wondering if the next GTA will be 2 DVDs in size.

GTA 3 was supposed to be New York (LIBERTY city..) and Vice City in Miami and the west / east stuff for San Andreas. i think london would be a good next GTA game because we have a very unique criminal underworld (anyone who's seen snach or lock stock will atest to the fact you could make a great GTA game from that formula)

I agree trekker, doing the next one if there is one, in london, would almost make me forgive them for dishing out on the modders. :p
