Just cruzing around Meadows Park and I went to the Monoglobe. Under the Monoglobe are 3 grenades. I'm trying to find more hidden items like weapons, etc.

I heard shooting all 200 pigeons grants the player an armed helo, but I haven't gotten half of them yet. I've seen maps on IGN for "Hotspots" and "Perverts" locations, but I have no clue what either are, didn't know what to look for when I checked them out in the game. I think the maps can be seen on an in-game website: "www.whattheydonotwantyoutoknow.com"

Well, if you want to go this route, GameWinners.com - Cheat codes for PC, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation3, DS, PSP, and more... has all the cheats, tips, and tricks. Personally, I like finding out shit for myself on my own. Recently I just got the Wheelie riders achievement, quite easily, too.

I found a small rat bike, the 600 or whatever, and got on a long, straight highway. I rode the yellow lines in between and got the achievement just as I broke through a toll. LOL

Personally I got the Brady Games Book as I pre-ordered my copy from HMV.

While I play through without using it for the most part, the maps in the back are extremely handy. Easy "One Man Army" Achievement on the XBOX 360 - This requires you still be living out of your first house and Manhattan Island (Algonquin) is closed. Save the game first! Find the bridge with the train tracks running underneath it, follow the tracks from the edge of the Island (preferably on a motorbike) and drive up the first stairway you find. Drive off the platform and onto the tracks - drive straight down the middle of the tracks towards Algonquin.

As you get half way there, you will immediately receive a six star wanted level - keep driving all the way across and you'll reach a subway tunnel that leads into the Algonquin subway system.

Stop the bike, get off, stand there and go make some coffee with the game running (not paused). Doing this means you have walls all around you while being inside the wanted area - Helicopters, Vehicles and Foot Patrol officers cannot reach you.

After five minutes inside the wanted area you have your achievement, load the save you created before starting - to get out of your somewhat dire situation.

I've found websites seem to think the way to pull this off is to stand in the middle of the bridge, however doing this means you vulnerable from all sides. Despite what seems to be general consensus, helicopters can shoot you while standing in the middle of the train bridge and foot patrol officers jump down to where you are.

The only way to avoid this is to head into the subway tunnel.

Tip: take the time to work on friendships. They can be rewarding. ;)

Yeah, I tried doing that just for shits 'n giggles, and it almost worked! I know I got close to the 5 minutes! What I did, was NOT stand in the middle but hide behind a girder. However, a foot soldier EVENTUALLY got me :(

What's up everyone? I have some useful game play information from one of the testers of the actual game. Read what Phil has to say at the link below. Personally, I think Rockstar has stepped it up big time in the game and in the series. I can't wait till Microsoft resolves the storage medium issues to give developers carte blanche in space which will turn out even greater results.

LOL that was a pretty good article^ I especially like the very last "PS" suggestion: get 3 lap dances in a row and turn up the volume" paraphrased.

Easy "Walk Free" Achievement on the XBOX 360 - Again it's inconsitant with what seems to be the general consensus on websites, but unlike the runway trick - this actually works.

A few websites suggest that you should get onto the Airport runway and run from one end to the other - the problem with this is that cops spawn all over the airport and you now have no where to run. You are well and truly dead.

For this to work, you need to have unlocked Algonquin Island and be slightly familiar with the subway station just up the road from your first safehouse on the East Side. Get some body armour first!

Start by killing a couple of pedestrians outside the subway entrance to attract some attention, once police arrive keep killing police officers until you reach a three star wanted level. Once you have this, high tail it straight into the subway and down onto the platform - you may have to fight your way there so be sure to take cover a few times.

Once onto the platform, if you haven't already got four stars by fighting your way down there - start killing the police officers that filter onto the platforms from the train tracks. Make sure you stand in between the two rails otherwise you risk becoming a one-under.

Finally, when you have your four starts - sprint down the tunnel and don't look back. After a short time you will outrun any officers following you and will have the tunnel to yourself. Keep running until you reach the edge of the wanted zone - sit on the very edge of it until the wanted level disappears.

You now have the Walk Free achievement. It required some fighting, but it worked better than trying to run from ally to ally. :uhm:

Free weapons/ammo!

Just before you head into your safehouse, pull a cop or two. Shoot them and then run into your safehouse, turn around and aim at the door (shotgun works best). Take out all the cops that try to get in and then rush to the bed and save the game. When you wake up there will still be some weapons left. Go and pick them up. Free of charge. ;)
