Whoa! Let us hope the cover does not reflect the game content or quality! I am an HL2 obsessive compulsive and will be happy with what they put out but. . . You would think they would have put a bit more time and energy into the cover! I am not sure but I think it is blandest cover of any game anytime.:uhm: Maybe there is some method to their design I don’t get yet but, I mean, dang! If I was shopping by box appearance alone, I think I would pass this up. For such a great game series I would have thought they would have something on the box that would catch my eye from a couple of hundred feet away! Regardless, I can not wait till the release date. Hey, maybe we could have a contest and the best box cover submission would be used!:naughty:

Yes, I agree that the box doesn't look as good as previous, but this was not the point of my previous post. Look at the patterns on the book and the box, don't you think that they are amusingly similar?

It is presented on a couple of news sites, it appeared officially for the first time on MTV G-Hole program, here's a link: click here. At the end you can see a small picture of it, for higher resolution pictures visit this site: click me, scroll down a bit and you'll see all box variants.

The only thing similar is the circles and even they are not exactly similar.

Yes, they aren't perfect replicas, but what you should notice are the pattern elements. Every single one of them appears on both, from the little dots, through half transparent and normal circles or curving lines to the merging ones. It's exactly same pattern, its elements are just placed in a bit different way.

Sorry for being off topic on this post here but how do you create links that say "click here"? Just wondering, and sorry again.

It's easy, write something, and mark it by holding down left mouse button and dragging cursor over it. Once you have the desired text fragment marked, press the Insert Link vB code tool, it's available from the upper reply creation menu - the globe with a chain or something. A new window will open for you, enter there the link you wish to have attached and click "OK". Everything's set, the link will appear as the stick of words you selected.
