I agree steam sux, but i'm not signing that. Do you really think a silly petition will shut down a multi-million dollar investment for VALVe?

trgbhnhuHy everyone,

A petition to Valve regarding Half Life 2 and STEAM www.petitiononline.com/cg1d0915/petition.html

Please tell everyone. And don't forget to sign, though. :deal: ;)

That's one of the most poorly written and erroneous pieces of correspondence I've ever read. No one is implying that you stole anything by having to validate on line. What ass-hats. Have you ever heard of Windows XP!?!? Well, you have to validate it online.

Whomever wrote the petition almost seems to imply that they are too stupid to figure out that it is just a piracy counter measure. I don't want to lump myself into a group that's too stupid to figure this out.

Why doesn't the same ass-hat write a petition to all the hackers and pirates to not post the game as warez on various file servers. Also, why the fuck should you care that you have to validate online if you're not breaking the EULA??

Well I guess you just want to break the EULA...

The only problem I had with Steam is that it was down for 3 hours when I was trying to activate my account.I agree with the anti-piracy measures, but please make sure they work.Especially when they had so much extra time before release.
