can anyone tell me exactly what Half Life 2 is about and what you do plz? like is it online? is it an RPG type kinda game? tell please!

Have you been living in a cave or something?
It's the best first person shooter ever, so far. It has various mods, such as CounterStrike and Half-Life Deathmatch which are played online. The single player campaign is unbeliveably good. It has no RPG elements, like upgrading attributes.
