Ok ive been hearing alot about this and need some feedback when playing Half Life 2 are the bullet holes on the bad guys supposed to be unlimited or not at all i dont know everyone says different, i have a gforce fx 56000 and all settings on high and when i shoot for example 4 bad guys only 1 or 2 of them will have like 1 or 2 bullet holes the rest dont. Is this normal or changable need feedback on this cause on the last chapter for some reason that changed for me and bullet holes became almost infinite on the enemys but only on the last chapter dont know what that is anybody know ?
i dunno what yer on about non of the guys u shoot have bullet holes they get blood on themselves though
thats what I mean those blood marks but they look like bullet holes duh what else they from, and i get them when I shoot the enemy, like 1 per guy but i shoot him 5 times. Also when I got to the last chapter the bullet holes changed and became almost unlimited and could put lots of blood marks on the enemy even after they were dead. I just need to know if this is normal or adjustable.
my bullet holes behave like urs.. and glitch they ARE bulletholes. there shud be a mod that fixes this stupid wound thing.. also u can never get a headshot wound.. pretty stupid
Ok you guys go into your multiplayer advanced and switch the decals (should be low) from around 800 or something to 4000 or for halflife 2 go into your options and find something that says decals and has a number and change it to really high
In HL2 single player there are no headshot decals. Also if you kill an enemy with a single shot no decals apear because decals are not enabled on the ragdolls. (When they die they instantly become ragdolls and so the shots are nnot registered with the model, just the physics engine. Dead bodies that have been set in-game and are already there do show decals however. It's something they need to sort out with a patch or something. :(
