If your where you found the car, you need to go on the bridge without the car and move the dead cars on the far side of the bridge so that the bridge topples towards your car. Then, simple drive it across, fast enough to jump the chasm. …I did this without thinking! Come On! It's common Physics! It's not hard!

I think that was a little mean. Not even one thinks the same way. I had to pause on that puzzle as well, however on the room where you have to drop a greneade to blow you up to the top catwalk, i had not even a second of trouble. That's why there are different types of puzzles. To challenge each different persons thinking. Diversity is a thing of beauty!

Not only that, the explanation of what you need to do is inaccurate as well. What appears to be another infamous HL2 physics puzzle on that bridge is really just a scripted event.

You can simply clear the entire bridge of wrecked cars (never heard of "dead" cars), go to the other end of the bridge, wait for said scripted event where the bridge handily tips, then scale the slanted I-beam at it's edge to head back to the car. This also gives you an entirely open path to drive across it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd have much preferred having to balance it with the cars at just the right angle, especially if you had to time it quickly before the bridge collapsed. I just think if you're going to lambaste someone whilst giving advice the least you can do is be correct about what you're saying.;)
