We will never know and I don't really give, but I'd like to correct a few things: -Russians don't have an outdated millitary,it's up-to-date with most "basic" military items like main battle tanks and it's navy(Russia's small arms however are old and can't match a good G36,FAMAS or M16).What they create is impressive, hell, their subs could have been the best in the world if they had the same electronics as the USS seawolf(ex:the Koursk had 2 hulls so it could withstand some heavy duty damage and the typhoon(for NATO and Russian it's Akula) class subs displace 3 times more than any of todays nuclear powered boomers, they're HUGE. -You can't really makes plans like that because you have no idea what the enemy is doing,it's like playing chess blindfolded trying to act as if your opponent isn't moving anything. But other than that it's a good speculation of what might happen if murderous genetic manipulating aliens try to conquer the world.

Its just, a rough sketch of what I think everyone would be doing in the advent of planetary conquest by aliens. Russians subs are really great works of art, but do you remember what happened to the kursk? Russia's small arms are outdated, true but they are more powerful, since they fire larger caliber, except for the AK74 which has a defective round. Bullets are supposed to leave holes that are neat upon impact, with the ak74 it tumbles upon impact for truly terrible wounds. Their tanks are outdated, and so is their airforce after the fall of communism the military budget took a dive. Russian soldiers I think get only 300 rubles a month, something tells me that aint worth dying for.

No argument about small arms, they're all old and some are unreliable(*most). The Koursk suffered a nasty little accident(they blamed it on a US sub collision) but actually it was their torpedo that screwed up.You see,Russians used an unflammable liquid called something like hydrogen peryoxide(or something vaguely similar) in their torpedoes,it's a very safe liquid but it has this tendency to turn to a gaz if it meets lead, and it does that fast.So the Koursk is underwater, and one of their torpedoes is leaking(?) then the liquid meets lead in the torpedo which expands fast which make the torpedo burst then explode in the torpedo room.Boom.Its 2 hulls couldn't contain dozens of exploding torpedoes so it filled with water and sank. It's pretty intact except of a huge hole in it.Which is amazing since any other sub would have crumpled up.
