Hey all! Im making Rebels vs Combine fights for last few days and got few questions... What weapons can i give to my npcs? I know only smg1, pistol, crowbar, rpg and shotgun. What combine troops can be created? I dont believe that only combine_s can be... What can I make to prevent striders and helicopters from "stucking" in the ground? I will be glad to recieve any help :uhm:

Well the only thing i can tell you other than you already know is..you can have combine_s, and you can have metropolice, which are the ones you see at the start.

The command is npc_metropolice i beleive.

I have found a full(not sure) list of NPC's and weapons for them: *How to use NPCs* Firstly, you will need to enable a couple of commands so that friendly NPCs can folow you: npc_citizen_auto_player_squad 1 npc_citizen_auto_player_squad_allow_use 1 A helpful command to use is, ai_disable This will prevent NPCs from attacking you and eachother. This is especially useful when trying to set up a scene of NPCs fighting eachother. Use the same command to toggle ai on/off. To spawn an NPC (monster) where your crosshairs are, use; npc_create npc_monstername (A list of all NPCs is given below.) In order for NPCs to spawn with weapons, you must use the following command. Each NPC you create after this will spawn with the weapon you specify, until you change the command to a new weapon. The command is; npc_create_equipment weapon_weaponname (A list of weapons is given below.) Note that NPCs cannot handle all weapons, and if given a weapon they cannot use, they will play incorrect animations, and possibly crash. In the NPC list below, the weapons each NPC can use are listed. Spawns at player location) npc_turret_floor Lastly, you can create an airboat and buggy with these commands; ch_createairboat ch_createjeep I want to be able to create "white combines" also known as super combines By the way - if you look at this list you will find a ichthyosaur! And you can spawn him!!! But he cant move/attack - he just moving his eyes... Anyway i didnt even see him in game! Wierd? ... :eek: P.S. Thnx for replying ;)

The icthyosaur is at the start of the game when you're standing in the teleporter and it starts to go all weird, it swims toward you with it's mouth open.

nothing happens, he just sits ther i tired it in a am i made, he has no ai, at least i think so

oh and go to interlopers.net they have some great tutorials

Welll still..... how can you spawn the Strider outside of the ground lol

and whats the code to spawn a Combine elite?

As it is said above (!) use noclip, fly over territory where you want strider be spawned and use give_npc strider. :D (You have to spawn gunships and dropships in the same way) P.S. Elite combine = Super combine = white combine. I dunno how to spawn it... Working on it atm and if you will get any info pls let me know.
