Leave him alone Wipper, he admitted that he made it up. It's foolish to continue harrassing him about it.

I think the explanation of the combine is quite good. It seemed perfectly feesable to me. The only thing I don't get is that if the combine have taken so many good things from other races then why are they so easy to defeat? A silly little rebel force somehow conquers a whole race of super-humanoids? I know it's fiction but...it's kinda random.

" The Combine are not a single race, but an amalgamation of races, species and life forms conquered by the Combine, adding their unique skills to the collective well being. They have obtained a great number of races, different species, and using advanced technological designs, manipulate the species bio-structure in order to facilitate their needs.
The Combine themselves, are not a single race, however it is believed from intelligence gathered, that the Combine were originally a species of beings in which technology was utilized to enhance their lives. They grew dependent on this technology, and over a course of what was probably thousands of years, evolved to rely on the technology, and thus became dependent on technology completely, and the weaker and less advanced species of life they manipulated for their own means.
While they have not been shown with photographic evidence, and definitely not by me while in Universe zero, there seems to exist a number of beings, of the original Combine race, which are the overlords, and leaders of the Combine as a whole. "

Well, they had faith in Freeman. That helped them overcome the Combine, who are faithless. Also, those few humans who joined the Combine knew about Freeman and learned to fear him and what he represented, since they probably thought he was just a myth.

I must applaud you, you are indeed an intelligent and creative writer. I feel bad for all those people who think you were real, they must feel so stupid. Now if you are the guy who posted that stuff then I must say that we are pretty similer, i didn't believe any of you post and you headcrab pics which supposedly freaked some people out were very entertaining as to me they looked like paper mache or somthing of the like, had you not put a mouth on the front they might have been more convincing but they were good, however i have done somthing similer to that on a "vampire" fourm, you know where all those crazy goth teen worship or say they are vampires. i posted a post that i was a credited paranormal investigator. I used all the info i gathered from books and stuff and put together a nice post that fooled much of the fourm, i haven't come clean till now. Going back to my main point, good job you should put your skills to a good use, like sales.
