I don't know about you but I am seriously getting into this game. Have any of you guys felt happy or angry when playing. When i first met Barney and Kliener i couldn't stop smiling. It was like meeting old friends and now with the source rendering they look so damn good that i want them to survive this ordeal. When i first met alyx for instance, well thats another story. hehehe. Below you may post descriptions/screenies of certain sections of the game that have made you feel a certain way. Just an idea. :)

I have to agree, at some points it felt more like a movie than like a game.

Yeah i find that you can get attatched to characters in games that absorb you as much as half life 2 did.

It was always a releif to see a friendly face after fighting for survival.

I did not feel that in any way. I felt like playing a normal game with awesome graphics.

Did you play it properly?

Lights out, headphones on etc. I always let myself into the game. I'm sad like that but its so much more enjoyable.

Yeah, I played properly. Most of the time without headphones, and lights on since I dont like work/play on the computer with lights off, having the monitor as the only light source.

halflife2 was engrossing gameplay only deepened by the realisitc characters and the fact taht you felt like you werea part of the story, like you were living the part, that is how realistic it is and how the enviornment and every aspect mad eyou fell.
