Here are some of the other weapons I was talking about. admin edit: images removed.

More leaked stuff. Keep going. The admins will eventually catch up.
Whats the big deal here people? I just come on here posting pictures for historical and refrence purposes and I get crap for it.
I'm not giving out links to d/l illegal stuff, I am not telling people that they should, hell I'm not even talking about illegal things. I just posted some pictures. I personally find this sort of thing very interesting, just watching the progress of games develop. I did the same thing with HL1.
Did you all know that HL1 was origanlly supposed to ship November 97, not 98. That version was VERY differnt then the one we got to play. It had mad scientists, barney shot at you, dozens of removed ideas and characters. The bugbait from HL2 stems from a concept from HL1, that of the chum toad.
I think you guys need to lighten up. Just look at the pictures if they interest you and comment on what you like, or what you are glad didn't make it in the game.
By the way, I am currently trying to develop a level that has all these deleted monsters in it, but I unfortuantly know very little about modding. If anyone here would be interested in helping me out that would be great.
It's called "posession of stolen property". It may be nothing to you, but a lot of people worked really hard to make those models and they do not belong to you.
Oh, please don't give me that crap. I paid $50 for Half-life the day it was released. I played that game online for years until Valve decided to start steam, and then one bullshit lead to another and I couldn't play my game that I paid for. So then I went out and bought ANOTHER copy of a game I already own just so I could play online again. That was another $30 out of my pocket. Then I pre-ordered Half-Life 2 for $60 off steam, now I play that. All in all I have given $140 to Valve for their products. I have never given a copy of one of their games to any of my friends because I want to support a quality product. Those models are just files that I stole from nobody, that would be sitting on someones harddrive collecting perverbial dust.
Rage2WrathI was poking around the Half-life files when I found some interesting stuff. I found ALOT of deleted enemies and weapons. You know how cheat sites always list like 40 differnt weapon commands you can type to get them, but they don't work. Well I found them all. I will save those for a differnt post though. Here are some deleted enemies.
All these 'creatures' were originally created for HL2. However were dropped as the storyline matured. I recognized all of them from the HL2 book except for the last vehicle. Which is probably just another throw-away idea. But who knows.
Paying for the game doesn't mean you own it. You pay for permission to play it and VALVe can revoke that at any time if they feel you violated the EULA. Also, I never said you stole anything, but you're in possession of stolen property. If some guy steals Gabe Newell's watch and the police finds me with it, I'm as guilty as if I had stolen it myself. I understand you want to do something with those models and appreciate your will to share, but please understand that you do not own those and can't use them as if they were. The files found in the official release are fine to use, since we're supposed to have them (they come with the game), but the ones you're showing here did not. They weren't meant to be released to the general public and you should respect VALVe's decision. Email them and ask them if it's ok to use them. They have the last word. Why would you take time to make a mod or whatever you want to do with those just to have VALVe "fox" it?
There are some other ones but they arn't very interesting or don't work. What I think is cool, is that all these creatures have A.I scripted for them and even sounds. That is why I want to put them in a map to see how they work and fight.
I agree with Fragger- If you got these from the leaked game, then they are stolen property. You did not pay for them. People like you should be persecuted, and have their computers confiscated.
