hey guys, I havent bought HL2 yet, or D3. I'm nervous at the ffact that my comp might not run it on high settings. AMD 2400,2GHZ (I am upgrading the ram)(curently 256) (deciding on the 256mb radeon 9550 AGP) I need to buy the ram abviously, but is that card good enough for Doom? cause I herd thats the hardest game to run on high out yet. If I can run Doom(even on normal or low) I should be ok with HL2 right? Any suggestions for cards other than the radeon 9550? Thx

the card is below average....and you need 512 minimum ram....and it might run Doom3 on low at a half decent FPS

no a 9600pro or a 9600Xt in a 256mb model. go from about $115 for the 256mb 9600pro to about $160 for the 9600Xt With either you can run it maxed out at 1024x768:D oH BTW: make sure you have a DVD drive if you buy the collectors edition:lol:. I did not have one so I have to get one now:p
