Think about it. He has been shot so many times, been slashed, burned and exploded in every single way. He has gone for several days without sleep, (which you will die if you try) or food or drink (unless, medkits count as food/drink) and survived the cataclysmic explosion of the citadel.

I'm not saying he is or isn't human, just that its up for speculation.

Well for one, he's in a H.E.V. Suit that protects him from a lot. Second, he wasn't in the blast, the G-Man stopped time and 'saved' him. As for the food and drink thing...its hard to incorporate that into a non-cut scene game.

Has he really ? If you really think about it HL2 and the 2 episodes seems to happen in just one day. I don't recall any nighttime except the darkness of Ravenholm.

Valve really should make the time pass and show it the daylight. It should not mess much with the storyline if at all.

About 2 days pass in HL2. Day time at the start, night and Ravenholm, day time after the mines, then getting dark at you get closer to the citadel.

no, its daytime when your arrive in c17, gets dark at ravenholm, than is light once you get out, than it stays light until you get to nova prospect, and it is day time again once you teleport back to c17, than its dusk when the breen is killed. in ep1, it is bright for the whole episode, which means that gordon was with the gman/underneath the rubble that night. Apparently, the episodes take place in the same day.

Well... If you think about, HL2 pretty much matches up to real time (ignore the light, Ravenholm couldn't be bright otherwise it wouldn't be scary) I can complete HL2 in 5 hours, and i think a lot of people can do it faster, and half life 2's speed isn't going faster or slower than real time, so i think that someone can go 5 hours without sleep. Now, after the citadel, he probably has a nice kip under that rubble, that's why he woke up and you didn't start playing with your eyes open, same for episode 2, and episode 1 and 2 i could do in 3 hours, so i think Gordon can handle it, if a normal human can handle 5 hours, then sleep, 2 hours, then sleep, then one hour, then sleep, (notice how he sorta half falls asleep, half falls unconscious at the end of hl2 ep2) i expect Gordon can!

well, to gordon and alyx it was just a few moments, so it doesn't really matter how long the teleport took.

'k, I'll try. That's like a headache with pictures, isn't it?

He has been shot so many times, been slashed, burned and exploded in every single way.

Find me a single game or movie character that hasn't. Watch 'The Last Action Hero' with Arnie in it for more information on this phenomenon.

The problem doesn't lie with Gordon Freeman, just with the entire action genre in general. Yes, Gordon is human - why would an alien attend MIT, exactly? Game and movie characters have endured the same, if not more, and survived in better shape than Gordon Freeman, and at the very least Half-Life tries to explain his increased survivability with the Hazardous Environment Suit. Was Matthew Kane human (before he was sroggified)? Was Patrick Galloway human? Was Indiana Jones human? Was Max Payne human? Was Nick Parker human? Was John McClain human? Etc, etc... etc...

You're looking far too hard for a conspiracy that just isn't there.
