I didn't know "Stalker" even existed until you showed me this thread. This game looks completely awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if it would layeth the smacketh down on HL2 (taking the 10 months left in development into account). Pariah looks sweet too. This and next year is the year of the FPS!!!!!!! FPS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: Yes, Doom 3 promised a lot, and it wasn't that good past the graphics and scare factor. But then again, HL2 promised alot and turned out to be teh roxorz. Hopefully, Stalker will pull a HL2, or pull something better than a HL2, or........ im confused :(. You know what i mean :) ah...... :smokin:

Mr. Matt, this is why I created this thread. Some Half-Life fans are not aware of Stalker, and I am sure they will love it. I am simply helping them out by showing this awesome game :cya: I dont make much, but a good computer is #1 on my list. If I spend every free time I have playing on it, I want a great experience. Its worth saving money for.

Fair enough. I don't make much either, but a computer isn't #1 on my list :p. It's a nice luxury, but if it came to owning a computer, or owning a car (car being necessary to get to work in this town, by the way), I'd toss the computer out the window.

And I'd stand happily under the window wondering if it's a message from heaven. Free PC!

During early development and testing of combat intelligence, one stalker went mad and began to consider himself as an enemy, trying to dispose of this "enemy" as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, our good-for-nothing animators did not plan for the possibility of putting your own gun to your temple, so the poor stalker had to instead shoot the only part of the "enemy" body he could reach - his own feet. For a good 10 minutes the entire design team, while rolling around on the floor from laughter, watched as the stalker-wannabie desparately battled with his own limbs. In the end, having used up two full magazines, the NPC died, submitting the diagnostic "Enemy successfully terminated" before terminating.

LOL

 Heh heh heh. I think that with all their resources, Heaven would send a much better computer, one less prone to blowing itself up ;).
