After a year or so of playing on steam. Yesterday out of the clear blue it ask me for my password. And i have forgot my password and that "secret question" answer that i had made. I know that myfault,So i submit a question from the support deal. I did this at 6:41 pm yesterday.I read on the steam forums that they will have a answer the next working day. Will its been allday and i have not heard from them at all. Also i do have the confirmation e-mail.I dont understand why they can not just send my password to me and be done with it.
Not to happy with steam right now.why over a year of playing many days and not asking for my password then out of the blue it wants to know my password....
Could someone hijacked my account or something along that line?
ending rant ---------------- thanks

Well that happens, it has asked maybe once or twice my password for no-reason. But fortunately I have remembered it. BTW. I though you can select in Steam that it sends and e-mail to your e-mail what is the one you have registered Steam. So do you still have that e-mail? If not, you should have changed in the options before..
The same thing happened to my brother...I typed in the e-mail that he used and he got an e-mail and new password but since he doesn't remember the "personal question" he can't use it.......whats even the point of that?! If you know the password to get onto the e-mail address isn't that enough proof that it's his account?! (very annoyed cause I can't pwn my bro online anymore...)
after 3 days of waiting ,the guys at steam reset my password so im good to go now.
Guess they are really busy or just really slow on helping ? i dont know, Im able to play again so im happy
