I'm going to be playing Epsiode 2 on the PC! I will definaltly get some upgrades so I can play the game maxed out. I will not be playing it on a consel unless a X-box 360 or a PS3 poped outta the sky with EP 2. I'm just dying to play EP2 :nodding:
Well I will most likely play it on the 360 since im getting one this xmas, then I can play it with maxed out graphics and max fps, I dont have the income to support the PC upgrades anymore so...
PC because nothing else matters. Give me PC or give me death!!!!!!
I don't own any concole and I never plan on getting one so I will surely play it on PC. Half-Lifes are pc games and they should be played on those, FPSes do not work very well on analog controllers and often games have to be especially designed for those (little enemys on different elevation). Therefore I think that you can gain full experience only with keyboard and mousepad. Besides any reasonable arguments, it the simple fact that I don't see a point in that thing wich is called gaming console. As for any technology boost, pc version will get every update console versions got, so don't worry. We should eve get updates for Half-Life 2 and Episode One with the release.
I played Half life 2 on the Xbox and I had a enjoyable expriance but I'd still like the pc version much better! Wow! Half life 2 and EP 1 are getting a new visual treat!? I alwas thought that they gave up on upgrading HL 2 with HDR becuase they'll have to rerender all the old maps.

A PC is the ONLY way to play it, Keyboard and Mouse FTW!!!

Not the HDR, it's not the case of updating levels only (and not rendering but rebuilding some scripts and making sure stuff isn't buggy in connection with existing things) but whole game as it usues Source engine as it would have no HDR, it would require reprogramming some bits. Those graphical updates may be stuff like higher poly models and higher res texture wich were done in Episode Two from existing stuff, better effects, better post processing effects etc. Note though, that these are only my guesses and I'm saying this because it was mentioned in one of interviews that console Hl2 and Ep1 will be specially updated and pc versions will get the same upgrade (in case of graphics stuff).
PC is the only way to go, Half-life doesn't feel right on consoles.
Will you need Epsiode 2 to get the upgrades in Half life 2 and EP 1 or will it be done through steam?
I sure hope that HL2 get an HDR upgrade...
And is Episode 2 even coming out for Wii?
