I've noticed something, yes, there are some neat mods coming out...true.. BUT... What the hell is up with all the pre existing mods? :uhoh: Why isn't there a Brainbreed: S? How about A more updated Source racer? More source SP maps that're more than one room in size?? And here's a good one...sven coop! C'mon, Why're the existing mods that are out right now so weak in the area of play? Servers with 200 ms ping, even counter strike servers have a buncha bot stand in's now. What the hell? I remember when half life games were packed! The big mods were plentiful and up to date! Thoughts? Comments? *puts on turnout gear* Flames? :uhm:

Well, TC (total conversion) mods are going to take time to develop but i would say there is still a huge community of HL2 modders. Mabey not all make their way to HL2 files but around the internet there are plenty of SP map packs etc. Just give it time, people need to familerise themselves with the engine, write more tutorials etc and generally build a communuity.

Totally agreed, metal_militia... You must give a time for TC MODS... And about the MODs you said: -Sven Coop 2 is already being build on Source Engine. -Source Racer? Man... If you want to race.. Well... wait for something called *release*. -Brainbreed? Not all HL1 games are being converted to Source Engine. -200 ping because Source Games need some bugfixes to correct the ping, if you remember Counter-Strike BETA, that MOD gave 400 ping playing on LAN! Now it is the most played HL1 MOD in the world... total sucess... Note: Source Engine games are harder to code (and mapping; modelling), if you are not happy about the development release, just stick on Half-Life 1 MODs, because good HL2 MODs will take a time to release.

That and the fact that people like Garry's mod a little too much.
