Basicly heres what happend I wanted to play Counterstrike source so I tried to register my steam account once again (I had forgotten about my old account) and it asked if I wanted to do something on the terms of my cd key already in use would you like to switch it to this account (I dont rememeber that quite clearly) but now every time I try to enter my half life cd key in it says it is already in use therefore invalid

I say ok to that and I could give them some form of proof or something maybe I could send them the box or just a simple email (I had used the same email on my old account) but no

They want me to pay 10 dollars for something...

The question in this long bull shit story is Is their anyway to get around it?

This is my first time losing a cd key are all games like this?

And I cannot reactivate my old account anymore because I had switched my email over to this account

Thanks for the help.

What Stalker said. No offense but you should always keep track of accounts and cd-keys. Especially when you're dealing with Steam.

He doesn't want a new email account, he switched over his email address to his new Steam account.
