Now heres something we havn't discussed.

I don't really get it, are the Spartans robots, cyborgs or humans that are really tough? And just how tough are the spartans or the master chief? We know he can flip a 50 ton tank or 3 ton warthorg which is cool, but if hes that strong I think when you use melee (And punch) the enemy should go sliding about 10 meters! Will there be any additional options in Halo2 where you can utilize spartans superstrength?

Spartans are human. MJOLNIR Mark V Battle Armor

Description: The MJOLNIR Mark V Armor is the brainchild of Dr. Catherine Halsey. The SPARTAN-II Project was started because no normal human could wear the armor without injuring himself. Human soldiers have used performance-enhancing equipment for hundreds of years, and the MJOLNIR battle suit represents the current pinnacle of military technology. As a product of the SPARTAN-II program where the Spartans were bio-engineered and technologically enhanced for better reflexes, eyesight, and coordination, the addition of the MJOLNIR armor makes the wearer nearly invincible. The battle suit utilizes a neural interface implanted in the brain. Movements and weapons are controlled at the speed of the speed of thought. The battle suit also contains a layer of crystal that forms a network capable of supporting ship-grade AI so the soldier can overpower alien computer systems if necessary. The suit shell is comprised of many layers of strong alloy and a refractive coating to disperse energy weapon hits. Internally, the suit regulates temperature and can reactively change in density as necessary. Early versions of MJOLNIR were simple, bulky exoskeletons. The armor was impractical for combat, as it needed a power source too large to contain autonomously. The suit required a large cable to run between it and the generator, which hindered movement. The next iterations of the design incorporated a much more slimmed-down profile, but still required a direct link to a fusion reactor for power. However the design was beginning to show promise. The next few prototypes began to incorporate a power transmission-reciever so that power could be transmitted to it much like the Orbital Defense Platforms in orbit of major UNSC colonies. This design was quickly rejected for two reasons. The main reason being that the armor still had a limited operational range, as the power generator could not be move easily. The second reason was that if the generator was destroyed somehow, the users would become trapped in worthless, metal shells. Finally, ONI and Dr. Halsey designed a viable armor chassis that was autonomously powered. It contained an individual fusion reactor, one of the smallest ever built. However, there were still set backs. Upon testing, the armor was so powerful that the test subjects nearly killed themselves. The marines who has volunteered to test the armor were not capable of withstanding the bodily stress. The suit stimulated nerves and muscles in ways that were impossible for a normal human body, breaking bones and pulverizing organs. The only way around this problem was to alter the user, not the armor. The SPARTAN-II soldiers were required to undergo extensive enhancements if they were to ever use the armor. Enhancements for nerve conduction, bone strength, and muscle growth were all required by the armor to work properly without killing the wearer. By the Mark V, the armor was perfected with the top technology in the UNSC arsenal, as well as experimental energy shielding derived from captured Covenant technology. The armor continues to evolve as new technologies are developed, and existing ones are enhanced.

This is what they wear:

If you mean what kind of armor they wear, it looks like just plain body armor, that cover their entire body.

ODST's seem so cool. Lol hardcore bastards which are pretty much shot out of a gun crashing towards earth. Nice  Other spartans would be cool also but we will see. Nov 9th is looking pretty close. You guys have your wish, but my sweet HL2 doesn't seem to be doing much....
